Our engineering and design team is led by someone with a unique background. More will be shared about his rare skills, which aren’t taught in any U.S. college. As a Westerner who lived and worked in Far East factories for over 11 years, he witnessed the region before the major manufacturing boom.
For over two decades, he has not just studied international manufacturing; he has lived it. With 22 years of direct, hands-on experience forged across continents—including 11 pivotal years in Asia—he has built more than a resume; he has built an ecosystem. His career is a testament to the power of deep, practical expertise and the unparalleled value of connections nurtured on the front lines of global commerce.
His return to China in 2024 marked a new chapter, electing him to a dual command rarely held by one individual: Vice President of Global Operations for the corporation and President of its powerhouse second division.
From this unique vantage point, he doesn’t just oversee Asian manufacturing; he orchestrates a global supply chain that ships over 30 containers to the U.S. each month, with his brand-name presence leaving a definitive mark of authority on the company’s newly built $5.6 million factory.

Scott Ballinger is an ears, nose, and throat surgeon who has practiced for 25 years. He graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine in 1993. He completed his residency training at the University of Louisiana at Shreveport in 1999.
During that 25 years he managed a solo practice for 16 years. He co-designed and co-built a medical office building. He has invested in sleep labs. He was an owner and on the board of a surgery center. All have been profitable. By happenstance, he met two of the other investors as neighbors.
By having two daughters who were purchasing their first homes within a few years, he became acutely aware of the expense of buying a first home and sometimes the shortage of affordable quality homes. On a trip to Charleston, SC he was exposed to the Charleston style homes and intrigued.
At a barbecue a conversation began about designing and investing in affordable, durable and weather resistant homes. With the primary investor and designer already involved and with his wealth of experience in manufacturing , Saraljo came into existence. Scott’s hope is that Saraljo can provide high quality, durable, and affordable homes for anyone, but especially first time home buyers.

Matt Schulz is an attorney who represents clients charged with federal criminal offenses, and clients sentenced to death in their federal appeals. Mr. Schulz graduated summa cum laude from Creighton School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2004 (finishing second in a class of 168).
Prior to his current work, he clerked for judges in the United States Courts of Appeal for both the Eighth and Ninth Circuits, one step below the United States Supreme Court.
He has argued cases in both the Eighth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal, and has been lead counsel on one case, and associate counsel on others, resulting in death row sentences being overturned.
Mr. Schulz, as an individual investor, is excited about the new opportunities afforded by modular home construction. With people being more mobile than ever, traditional housing prices skyrocketing, and available land for new builds becoming increasingly sparse, modular series homes have tremendous future potential, as they offer an affordable, yet even sturdier, alternative to traditional-build houses.
