Our History
For the last 20 years, our parent company’s expertise has been in manufacturing and the international supply of commercial braking systems and components for heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
One of the major companies that bought our products was Daimler Chrysler, a company you’ve probably heard of. Daimler-Benz became Daimler AG after Chrysler was sold in 2007.
In 2019, the truck parts division was rebranded to Daimler Truck AG. Mercedes-Benz Group AG is the new name for the company that was formerly Daimler AG, a change that occurred in 2022. Our parent company is an authorized and validated manufacturer for them.
The reason we’re explaining this to you is that we feel that if we’re good enough to gain clients and manufacture products for them, we’re definitely qualified to do business with you and to engineer these modular systems.
You can observe our achievements through our physical assets and our substantial expansion. We show our capabilities through the creation and distribution of products, rather than just discussing them. The new facility we constructed ourselves shows our operational capabilities.

We now operate across three continents and have gained customers in over 30 nations. Our company holds a substantial share of the U.S. market, evidenced by our monthly shipment of 30 container loads. To illustrate, the expense for one shipment of our flagship product totals $100,000. Our company has given the go-ahead for a new factory, scheduled to begin operations in August.

Our Beginning
As the COVID lockdown was drawing to a close. Two friends noted that the cost of building homes had increased, and prices showed no signs of abating. To achieve the American Dream, we felt it was important to do something about this crisis. The company was founded by a doctor who is an ENT specialist and an individual with manufacturing industry expertise.
Despite homeownership appearing unattainable for a significant number of people, we remained determined. By priontizing premium materials and a dedication to outstanding quality, we set out to create stunning, enduring residences that are accessible to families, preserving their homeownership dreams.
We started developing a strategy and establishing this business. With our parent company’s two decades of experience in established manufacturing and significant production capabilities, the potential for success was within our grasp, and we stand by our offerings.

We are going to start with Scott Ballinger, an ear, nose, and throat surgeon who has practiced for 25 years. Matt Schulz is a Federal Capital Habeas Attorney with 22 years of experience.
He’s also a co-founder of MBS, which is our newest modular company. When planning to launch it with Saraljo and MBS will offer a wide range of modular products. Matt’s most recent case made national news which was the Charles Sonny Burton case.
Scott Ballinger
Co-Founder | Saraljo, M.B.S
Scott Ballinger is an ears, nose, and throat surgeon who has practiced for 25 years. He graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine in 1993. He completed his residency training at the University of Louisiana at Shreveport in 1999.
During that 25 years he managed a solo practice for 16 years. He co-designed and co-built a medical office building. He has invested in sleep labs. He was an owner and on the board of a surgery center. All have been profitable. By happenstance, he met two of the other investors as neighbors.
By having two daughters who were purchasing their first homes within a few years, he became acutely aware of the expense of buying a first home and sometimes the shortage of affordable quality homes. On a trip to Charleston, SC he was exposed to the Charleston style homes and intrigued.
At a barbecue a conversation began about designing and investing in affordable, durable and weather resistant homes. With the primary investor and designer already involved and with his wealth of experience in manufacturing , Saraljo came into existence. Scott’s hope is that Saraljo can provide high quality, durable, and affordable homes for anyone, but especially first time home buyers.
Matt Schulz
Co-Founder | M.B.S
Matt Schulz is an attorney who represents clients charged with federal criminal offenses, and clients sentenced to death in their federal appeals. Mr. Schulz graduated summa cum laude from Creighton School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2004 (finishing second in a class of 168).
Prior to his current work, he clerked for judges in the United States Courts of Appeal for both the Eighth and Ninth Circuits, one step below the United States Supreme Court.
He has argued cases in both the Eighth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal, and has been lead counsel on one case, and associate counsel on others, resulting in death row sentences being overturned.
Mr. Schulz, as an individual investor, is excited about the new opportunities afforded by modular home construction. With people being more mobile than ever, traditional housing prices skyrocketing, and available land for new builds becoming increasingly sparse, modular series homes have tremendous future potential, as they offer an affordable, yet even sturdier, alternative to traditional-build houses.

He has extensive experience managing human resources and administrative functions for military and civilian organizations, with a consistent focus on compliance, process improvement, and exceptional personnel support.
